I didn't prime my pump on my CA and it came up with pressure just fine. It's got grease in it already to kinda help with that at startup (at least once again that's how mine came... your results may vary)

load that facker with vasoline before you bolt it in, then disconnect the coil harness and crank it until the oil light goes out, the vasoline will lube it right from the get go, and then will dissolve when the oil hits it

how do i load it with vasoline when its already install? i been cranking for hrs with harness off the coils and off the injectors.. but guess wha no result. i dont c any oil lights going out while cranking or oil spraing on the cams. u know when u guys crank do u just turn the key and hold it on start position and let it crank or just start on and off. "crank of and on"?:(

check your oil pick up, make sure it isn't clogged, or hitting the oil pan

huh?

the oil pump is gear driven by the crankshaft, so you need to CRANK the motor. remove spark plugs to help it crank easier (also easier on the motor/starter)

You will have to hold the key in the start position for probably about 10 seconds.

are you installing an SR, or are you putting a new oil pump on your KA, or SR that's already been running?

well, i did make an spark by my alumium piping when i try to install an extanded wire from positive wire to the fuel pump and try to pump the oil to my oil pump.. so i guess that might fried the ecu huh.. cuz all the fuses are fine condition. and wha are u guys talkin about a wire test ?? where should i test it at. wha part of the car??? i mean there is power to the ecu by the ecu wont return power. so i think that is y ecu is not giving sparks to my coils. and besides the windshiel motor is contorl my ecu, also turn signals, AC, heat, and all ignition materials cuz if the ecu dont return power back to all those materials i dont think they would work on ignition rite ? cuz those all dont work when i put it on ignition. i test the power wire to ecu and there is power but when i test the back power from ecu no power at all.. so i guess thats the ecu rite ? thx
