Oil pump pressure test-1995 Nissan Maxima

Did an oil pressure test on my car and got the following results;

Idle speed PSI 303000 RPM PSI varied between 65-75 so I have a question;

When I did the test at 3000 RPM, the needle on the gauge wobbledbetween 65-75 and never did settle to one pressure. Has anyoneever tested their oil pressure? Did you get the same results I did?What type of equipment did you use and where did you buy it?

My test kit was only $10 from Harbor Freight. Maybe that's why?

By the way the oil sender unit (screws in above the oil pan) with thefemale plastic input for the wiring was $24 from Nissan OEM parts.
