oil pump failing? (low oil pressure)

for street driving i would run 10w30. if you are hitting the track maybe run 10w40 or 15w40. is your motor built with bigger than stock oil clearance? if not, stick closer to the recommended oil weight.

if you are doing 90% track, a thicker oil will retain its viscosity better at high temps. if you're streeting it mostly, keep to the thinner oils
