If you know how to replace your oil pressure sending unit, you should know where to check your oil pressure. Get a gage, and put it in the hole you screw the sending unit into.

Did you do anything to the motor other than install the drain and feed line for the turbo?

The pumps a PITA, its in the front lower timing cover. You have to take the valve cover, front timing cover, oil pan, crank pulley, then the lower timing cover.

Check for the oil pressure and dont run the car as of right now. dont risk the chance of blowing the motor.

If you did the turbo install your self, the oil pressure sending unit should be right where you hooked up your oil feed line ...

If the motor is making lots of noise, there is already damage. So check the oil pressure then prep for a total rebuild.

no oil in da head only made noise for less than 40 seconds. dont think anythings bent up top, pullin the cover later. if i attempt to check the pressure then i think i will kill the head.

Well if you have the head off...you might as well pull the rods and check the bearings.

Thats a huge amount of time in an internal combustion engine man. 40 seconds of oil starvation can completely destroy an engine. It would be one thing if it only made a lot of noise for less than a few seconds, but 40 seconds is freaken serious.

When something makes A LOT of noise...it's damaged...and usually badly.
