I blew my oil ring on my number 2 cylinder today. I want to redbuild the engine. I want build it to be able to handle about 350hp, and would like to just get away with replacing the stock pistons with forged pistons, and use the stock rods, and the stock head. I was wondering what you guys thought.

for 350 that will be good, just shotpeen the rods or cryotreat them. Once over the 350 mark things begin getting a little sketchy, do a couple searches and you will find rod failure occurs often on built KA-Ts.~Sam
