i have done my search for days now i cant find anything my oil light came on suddenly and still runs fine unless i give it half throttle or more it sputters and jerks at around 4k. the oil does not leak and has plenty 3.75q just changed it. another thing i noticed is that the oil sensor is not connected and no wires or connectors to be connected but dont know if it was ever connected since i bought the car already installed with a s14 sr20det engine in a s13 chassis. it will go past 4k but at less throttle anyone know whats going on im running 12pai with a nismo fuel pressure regulator and still running lean while cruising and just changed the fuel filter.

any help please want to get this running right im stuck and dont know what to do next ive been trying to trace any wires for the sensor but dont see any

Did you do any mods recently? The oil light coming can mean many different things... Useually meaning that the oil is really dirty. But since you said you changed it recently, its something else...

the red dummy light the lights up when you start the car is a low pressure light there usually set at 15 psi anything below trips the light .. if it wasnt hooked up it must be grounding out and tripping the light .. i think your running problem and the oil light are seperate inccidents .. why may i ask is the oil light not propley hooked up .. i mean its usually just a simple spade terminal (single wire ) why leave it off ??

Agreed that oil light and running condition most likely don't relate. Running condition sounds like a MAF or TPS. Does your car stall out at all?

well i was putting in a master switch and messing with all sorts of wires but put them all back. i dont see one that is long enough to go to the oil sensor another thing is that i keep messing with my fpr and still dont get the fuel right i had it right at first but i moved it and cant get it back unless its a different issue im going to clean out the injectors today and see what happens and does anyone know where the wires go from the oil sensor to and where i can connect them to

well i was thinkin if the oil light is on the ecu might be cutting fuel over a certain amount of throttle the tps is fine by the way i checked that already

oh and i put the ka maf back in because it runs better right now since i dont have it tuned or anything to change the maps with the z32 maf

car runs fine when im crusin and at idle
