what is the normal oil pressure in a 90 z32 n/a mine is like 20 or maybe less... is this bad... :confused:

warm idle standard is like 15 psi, it should go up as the engine revs go up, and it should be higher when you first start the car

so its not my oil pump, i changed the oil of my car to a 20w-50 but the knocinkg still goes on...
what could this be...

if you read my post on your thread about the toickign you'll see I suggested it might be an exhaust leak at the head and nowhere did I suggest you change you oil, and at this point I suggest you change back to standard oil, the 20w50 is too thick for startup and that could lead to cold start oil starvation

ok so what head gaskets do you suggest i saw some in ebay does it matter if they are for the twinturbo.. its the whole set...

I never said headgasket, I said exhaust at the head, and that doesn't mean it's that exhaust for sure but if you use a piece of tubing to your ear and move it around you might be able to determine that location and evaluate if it's annoying enough to warrent the effort involved
