What is good idle oil pressure ?

and what is good oil pressure on the highway about 60-65?

Is NA and TT oil pressure the same ?

I have an n/a and when im in 5th cruisin on the freeway i believe its about in the middle. depends what the rpms are at and how hard you're pushin the motor. hope this helps you out

FSM states idle oil pressure on a warm engine should be above 11 psi at idle (I believe ideal is ~30, mine sits at ~27, generally), and oil pressure at 3000 rpms should be between 51-65 psi. All oil pressure tests should be performed while engine has no load applied (out of gear).

Damn mine sits at like 45 psi at 65mph in 5th gear

maybe my sending unit is going bad

Hope its not the pump

It's probably just the sending unit. That's what went out on mine. F***ers are like $100 a pop. Be sure to seal it with some white RTV. I didn't know and mine started leaking.

Damn...my 201,000 mile motor still does a minimum of 20-25 psi hot idling, and 45-60 psi under most any load...50+ psi at freeway speeds.Thanks, Duralube...

my 205k mile na woudl still hit 80 with fresh oil getting on it... that was a strong motor..shame rod bearing went.
