oil pressure

i have an rb20 in my s13. i noticed the oil pressure was at like 15 pounds at idle, what should it be. i changed the oil today to see if it changed but it did'nt. im running castrol gtx 10w 30. thanx guys

thats fine thats where mine sits at idle. the fsm calls for 1 kg/cm2 at idle which is 14.2psi, then 42psi at 3k, and 56psi at 6k

How do I set the idle and what should it be? Mine is 200-250 it sometimes doesn't stay idling... it stalls!

My rb25 Cold holds 100lbs at idleHot 40-60lbs at idle.ON the throttle almost 120lbs

Im not sure of wat stock is.

If your bearings start wearing out thats when your oil pressure decreases.I have all new race bearings with tight clearances so thats why mine is so high.

the FSM says the rb25 pressure would be .11MPa (15.9psi). damn, yours is high!!! mine is around 23pounds hot.
