oil pressure sensor?

where would i put in a oil pressure sensor for an aftermarket gauge?

anyone know of a site with the diagram so i can see a pic of what it looks like...the pressure sending unit that is??

It is just behind the oil filter, closer to the firewall. Cant miss it.

do you have to use a T? Does the stock oil pressure sending unit send a signal to anywhere other than the gauge cluster? Cause if it does...i need to put it back on. I just replaced the stock one with the autometer one.

No, there are a couple wires, one for the gauge and one for the dummy light...nothing goes to the ECU.

i was just looking at my car and i just wanted to make sure im going to take the right thing off....the oil pressure sender is the thing just behind the filter with the single wire comeing out with some kinda rubber boot around it right??
