So as i was pulling my SR out of my old 240, i couldnt quite get the oil pressure sensor plug disconnected, so i decided to cut the cable and re-solder it together once i got the motor out of the car and had easier access to the sensor plug. well, after i pulled the motor i eventually got the sensor plug disconnected, and have now misplaced it :( so am i entirely screwed? i dont necessarily want to shell out the cash for another whole harness, but i was wondering if there is possibly somewhere online i might could simply buy just the plugs? or if a KA24 oil pressure plug was the same? either way, thanks in advance guys.

Most of these Nissans have the same plugs. I'm not even using mine anymore. I have two other pressure senders off of my filter sandwich. Just a thought.

i appreciate it bro, im thinking about taking the one off of the KA harness, but at the same time, since its only 1 wire i'll either straight wire it, or just buy an oil pressure gauge from advance auto or something. thanks for the input though man.

I would go for the oil pressure gauge. I hate that most cars don't come with them.

As suggested, an oil pressure gauge is the best way to go
DO NOT FORGET, that the OEM thread pitch is 1/8" BSPT...NOT NPT!!!

YOu'll need a conversion fitting (ATP or similar sell them) to run the gauge, or a gauge with a BSPT tap.

^this. Summit Racing also sells a 1/8 NPT female to 1/8 BSPT male fitting that straight for $9 + shipping. I'm using this and an Autometer 3ft -3AN SS line to the gauge sensor. I mounted it on the firewall under the wiper motor. Also OP, the stock oil pressure sender is only for the dummy light in the gauge cluster. IIRC it only causes the light to come on if oil pressure drops to 5 psi or so. So, it only lets you know when you oil pressure is too low. Ditch the stock sensor for an aftermarket gauge.
