ive been having problems with my spark and injector pulse. right now i dont have the oil pressure sensor hooked up and wanted to know if i needed it. like it was a safety thing if i lost oil pressure it would decrease everything else. should i hook it up? this is in a 1995 s14...

thanks

Zak

Its only really good for after an oil change so you know there is oil pressure, or if your car sits overnight and the oil happens to drain it will warn so you dont run your car dry. realistically the oil indicator comes on when its a bit late (5spi and under) so its a pretty usless gauge.

However my aftermarket gauge saved my motor on two different instances (hole in filter once, and drain plug fell off once) that the stock gauge hadnt picked up on because it only goes off when you are under 5 psi. So i recomend you get an aftermarket gauge. But a stock gauge is better than no gauge so get something.
