On another forum, I have seen that removing the stock oil pressure sensor on an SR will not throw a ECU code. IS this true? If it isnt, how did you guys install oil pressure sensors on your cars?

You could use one of those "sandwiches" that goes between the block and the oil filter, they have a couple ports built in to hook up oil pressure & oil temp. I dunno, it might be kind of an impossibly tight fit on an SR though. Or you could get a greddy oil filter relocation kit, not only would it put your oil filter in a more reachable place, but it also has ports for gauge sensors to screw into. Also, I'm pretty sure taking out the stock oil pressure sensor won't throw codes. I don't think it's even hooked to the ecu, just to the dummy light in the gauge cluster.

Thanks quick.

So taing out the oil pressure sensor will throw an idiot light?

On a similar topic, does anyone read nissan performance magazine online? They turbo charged a 1.6 200sx, and they used a OEC Oil Distribution block. Does anyone know how to get this?
