I found out that my oil pressure sending unit was leaking today. The car is a 1991 Nissan 240sx with an SR20DET swap. It has a set of autometer gauges in it. Seeing as the car is leaking oil like a mofo,

1.) Will a KA oil sending unit fit?

2.) If not, where can I buy one that does?

3.) How can it be put in so it doesn't leak like the Titanic?

And yes, I have searched. I found that all S13's seem to have the same part # for the sending unit, but I wanted to be 100% certain that it fits before I go tearing everything apart!

Is the unit itself leaking or is it leaking where the unit screws into the engine because one can of these problems can be fixed relatively easy?

Are you talking about the sender FOR the autometer gauge or the OEM one?

If it's the OEM one and you have an autometer one attached to it as well, just dump the OEM one and make it so only your autometer sender is in there.

If you have the same Autometer gauge set that I have (Ultralite II IIRC) then most likely what has happend is the unit has worked itself loose (just due to how you have to install the Autometer one in the stock location) and that's why oil is leaking out. Have you gotten under the car and checked to ensure that something isn't just loose?
