As most of you who have dealt with the lower RB25 harness know, it has a two wire oil pressure sending plug. The blue wire is for the factory pressure gauge on the RB cluster, which doesn't exist on S13 cluster and therefore it is something most people just remove.

So now for the question. Have any of you tried using that wire to feed an aftermarket oil pressure gauge? If I could use it then it would save me the hastle of using a sandwich adapter.

I have been on this forum for many years now and have never seen mention of someone using this, but that sure would be nice if it would work.

it might work it might not...but for what its worth most nissan std oil pressure senders are lazy by now and will proly not read accurately.

Thanks Carl.

I think I am going to end up doing a oil cooler and relocation kit and use the NPT ports on it.
