i have a mechanical oil pressure gauge ( didnt know there were 2 kinds, electric =/ )

anyways i put the line through the throttle cable (which worked fine for my boost gauge ) however the oil pressure gauge line wont reach the oil pressure sensor...did anybody have the same problem as me?

is there a way to extend it and still have able to connect it to the fitting

i had the same issue and ur only solution is to get an SS line/nylon line with a length that is around ten feet. u'd be hard pressed to get a 10ft nylon line and use it without having issues. autometer does sell a 12ft nylon line........

As for extending the line, u'll save the hassle by just getting a new 12 ft one and chopping that one up.......

how about...

get a vacuum hose, (which is easy to get), cut the a peice off the tip of the oil pressure gauge line.....connect that tip to the seal on the oil pressure sensor....now use the hose to connect both ends of the lines

is that ok?

auto parts stores, vatozone and oreilley's at least, sell oil gauge hookup kits for under $10. its a copper line, about 10ft, with compression fittings for the ends and a bunch of different size adapter fittings. made by sunpro
