Anyone with an Oil Pressure gauge on an SR, is there a factory oil pressure sender I can use or do I need to use the sending unit my gauge came with?

The factory sending unit is for the dummy light. It only senses when oil pressure falls to critical levels. For your gauge to function, you will need to use the sending unit it came with

Its pretty easy, mostly straight forward. I'm not going to keep my stock sensor since I've heard its useless, plus, I'll be monitoring it much better with my gauge.

Did you even try to search the site? There is a write up, by someone from Georgia no less, with a step by step.

not only will it not work, I believe unless it is a Greedy gauge the thread end will not be correct....you will have to get an adapter, Heavy Throttle sells one for $32 that comes with the proper fitting and a steel braided line so you won't have to wory about vibration damaging your sending unit.
