Own a 1995 Nissan 4 cyl pickup. Looking to install an oil pressure gauge. Need advice as to what gauges and sender to use and how to hook one up.

I went a VDO gauge from http://www.egauges.com. Chose the gauge and it should tell you which sender you need. You will need a 27mm socket to remove the old pressure switch from the oil filter housing. You want a sender that has an additional spade terminal so you can reconnect the wiring for the warning lamp....otherwise the warning lamp will be lit all the time. The thread is 1/8" fine thread. The sending unit is rather large but will fit. Run a lead from the sender to the gauge. Run power and ground to the gauge, do this for the gauges backlight as well. Everything should be up and running.
