oil pressure gauge error

hi there, I have a problem with my oil pressure gauge. Last week, I notice that the oil pressure gauge pass 120psi when I start the engine. I took it to the dealer and have them checked. They said that the K&N oil filter cause the oil pressure sending unit malfunction. Anyone knows what it is going on with the K&N oil filter. Please help!!! Thanks

Sounds like bs to me. Is this for a 350z?

what oil are you running? i highly doubt the kn filter is at fault.

yes. it is 2003 350Z. I am running with Mobil 1 oil

What weight oil? What's the oil pressure when idling with the engine warmed up?
