I installed Autometer electric oil pressure gauge on my KA24E. I bought BSPT to NPT Adapter from local racing equipment shop and installed it properly. When I start engine the gauge indicates little bit below the zero, and when I accelerates it goes up around zero. I used 18 gauge wire to connect sender and gauge. I can't find the problem. Does anyone have same problem?? I'd appreciate your help...

Was it a floating ground style (2 contacts on back of sender) or a standard style? If it was a standard style, did you seal it with teflon tape? If you did you might have killed the ground it makes with the oil filter extension. Also, did you make sure to get a sender that has the right output for your gauge? These are the only things I can think of other than just getting a bunk gauge or something.
