So anyone eles have this problem. When my car is cold my oil presure gage works great. however when my car gets warm it no longer works. now i know i have oil presure when it is not working im just wondering if it is a easy fix or electrical problem.

replace the sender unit, they are known to fail. 30 min job, located above the oil filter.

just replaced mine last week, with the identical issue. easy to change and cheap as well even from the dealer.

sorry to take over the thread, but i won't wanna make another one, hopefully is ok :D

it is any good to maybe add and aftermarket gauge for better readings? or it is just a waste of money?

Its totally ok i was thinking the same thing but i still want stock one to work

You can go aftermarket if you really wanted, but the stock one works just fine as long as the sending unit is good. Once you replace the original sender with a new one it should be good for a long while.

myne does the exact same thing as it warms up it drops out ..new one coming ...
