Would using this tool:http://www.amazon.com/KD-Tools-3289-Pre ... B0002SQWY8 give you a accurate and easy way to check the oil pressure?

Or better yet, can you use both this tool and and another oil pressure gauge. And check the pressure from the oil pressure switch and compare the difference?

My guess is that the pressures should be the same - but I wouldn't know for sure.

Looks like a neat tool though...

Isn't pressure always constant?

The only downside to this tool is that unfiltered oil would circulate through out the engine for the time period its used.

When removing the pressure sensor to check using a conventional sensor, there is the British Standard Pipe Thread fitting required. Also, I used a pressure sensor tool to remove the old sensor before I PMed it. Checking pressure using the pressure sensor is not an easy task.
