oil pressure at low RPM?

what's everyone's oil pressure at say..1200 RPM? Mine was 35-40psi and it jumped to 65psi for some reason and will not come down even when the RPM drops close to idle.

was the engine temp warm, or cold when you noticed this?

is your gauge mech or electric. I have a grounding issue with mine. It's fine one minute and bad the next.

at start up it's at about 45-50. when at running temp. at idle, she barely pulls 20.

This was at cold start with ambient temp about 70F. It's a mechanical gauge. I'm going to redo my oil cooler lines and see how it goes.
