Yea, I thinner oil should help the oil pump get primed up. Remember to not start the car right away, but to remove the fuel pump fuse and remove the spark plugs. Then crank the car till the oil light goes off. Once it does you can re-install the plugs and put the fuse back.

Both, kinna.. With no plugs, the engine will spin FASTER with a MUCH lower load on the bearings (crank and top rod bearings...).

Might help to squirt a teaspoon of oil in each cylinder..

Might do the oil pressure light trick a couple of times. Have the oil pressure light off cranking for ~~ 60 seconds or so (not 60 all at once, like 20 20 20 ...). With no plugs, the starter is not under a lot of load..

I couldn't have said it better myself, so I won't!
