I've done a little digging and haven't found a definitive answer. I've seen the port circled in this pic used as oil pressure port/feed for gauges ect on the rb30 block but can't find a definitive answer for the rb25. is this an oil port i could use for my oil pressure sensor? and if so what thread pitch? 1/8 bpst? or NPT?

I thought that that was the block coolant drain port...It's been a while so I MIGHT be wrong.

Not sure if that is oil gallery.

The stock oil pressure transmitter is 1/8-28 BSP, so the NPT stuff will not is using stock transmitter.

I see you are using a remote oil filter adapter. If you are using NPT type pressure transmitter, You might try drilling and tapping it.

That's what I ended up doing. I was tired of looking around for BSP to NPT adapters. That stuff is hard to find and expensive.

Hope that helps :bigthumb:

yeah...i wasn't sure if it was water or oil. i originally thought it was oil....but then found this picture today where the guy is describing it as the stock oil pressure sensor port for the rb30. this was on a page doing the 25 vct head on an rb30. bpst is no biggy b/c i have an adaptor....just wanted to make sure before i take all the time to get under there and pull it. worst case i'll take the oil system apart and do what you mentioned.
