oil pickup gasket??

will be assembling my engine soon and was unaware if there was a gasket that needed to be installed when installin the pickup.... didnt find an answer when i search, thanks in advance..

I believe its RTV liquid gasket yo! lol Its in the FSM, should show/tell you what you need for the gasket.

ok thanks i only have a download for an s14 sr, and was not sure if the oil pickup system was the same... just wanted to double check, dont need ruin my new engine... thaks once again

It is not RTV. The original gasket is an o-ring, but Nissan later updated it to a gasket gasket. Click here for a link to the item you need.

No problem. Last thing I need is for board members to put RTV on taht pickup and get it clogged up
