Oil pan won't come off

Yea I know, I already did a search but i'm in a rush. I have a Chiltons maual and removed all the nuts and bolts it told me to. My engine is housted from the engine mounts. The oil pan is loose but it still won't clear and come off!!!! The back part of the oil pan is still hitting the steering rack!! What is up, I thought it comes right off after u remove all the mounts, sway bar, and nuts. It still won't clear and I don't have time to figure this out.. Fast help will be much appreciated.

did you unbolt the oil pump pick up tube.

Yeah.. you have to reach inside the oil pan and unbolt them. It's a PITA.

Where exactly is it on the inside, thanks for the help...

It's the tube where the oil pump picks up its oil from. Feel around toward the front oil pan and you'll find it. There are 3 bolts, I think 2 10mm and 1 12mm(IIRC).

Thanks a bunch for the quick responses, the stupid chiltons maual did'int say anthing about the oil tube. Anyways, I'm gonna try to get it off asap, my goal is to go full turbo by tomorrow, I'll update u guys on it and thanks alot for the help!!!!!!

I doubt you'll be able to finish if you haven't even tapped your oil pan, but I wish you good luck nonetheless.

if it's an s14, it's 2 12mm bolts up front.

Yeah... Maybe it's 2 12mm, and 1 10mm... I don't remember.

The point is that you gotta feel around for the bolts.

Hey, i got it off, It was 2 12mm and I also put it back in today with the bung. Dang, I was suppose to finish it today!!!!!!!!!!!! I already got my oil feed lines all hooked up. Puttin my lower subframe back is gonna be a PITA!!
