I came across this oil pan over ebay.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1from the look of it, it looks just like greddy one. But like $100 cheaper.Does anyone have any experience with this oil pan?

thanks,

It looks exactly like the greddy one. Everything is exact, comes with the same 2 baffle plates and same hardware. Also has a port for oil temp sensor along with the oil drain hole.My guess is that it is a greddy pan and the guy selling it has no idea. If I needed one i'd take my chances and just buy that one now.

I was thinkin bout this too man! There almost an exact replica of the greddy! It is not a Greddy though, so dont be confused, but I dont see why it wouldnt work just as good as a greddy. It looks like whoever is selling them either knows a bootleg company or they are making them themselves, because they offer adj tension rods, upper arms, traction rods, intake manifolds, ect... all look alikes of good brand companies. I just wander if they all work and safe as the better company products.

Don't mean to hijack but, is their any fitment problems with the Greddy or other larger oil pans when running a large front sway bar? I got the Tanabe 30mm and think it may hit.

That's exactly what i'm afraid of. Will there be any fitment problems?I bought the HKS style turbo extension and that had the ****tiest fitment.I had to hammer the pipe so it would clear the steering rack, and still I can feel the vibration when i'm reving high.

So noone has yet dared to try?

The turbo elbows have bad fitment b/c they are coppies of the HKS which is designed for a RHD car only. I'd really consider this oilpan. They are pretty low-tech so I doubt there would be a problem.

When swappin in the new oil pan, it should drop right out correct? Other than draining the oil, nothing needs to be removed right? .. juss maybe tight to work around?

yea just drain the oil for a good while, then unbolt all the bolts and give it some love knocks around the sides to loosen it up and it'll come off. watch out for oil pouring on your hair. make sure to scrape off the old gasket and apply new. fill with oil.

No possible way. I have a GReddy pan and it is wider in width, not length. The swaybar doesn't even get remotely close to it. You could have a 50mm swaybar and still be fine...
