is it possible for it to be changed inside the car or is the steeering rack and all in the way?? just curious

I've pulled mine several time while in the car. I did have to unbolt the pickup and take the steering rack out to do it but, that's not very hard. Mines a s14 with nismo mounts and r32 crossmember. It might be different for other mounts though.

the crossmember and the mounts are all attached to the same thing. So did you just hold the engine up with a cherry picker or something??

i did mine. cherry picker to hold it.

unbolted the crossmember, just had to get it down a bit to get it out. pain in the ***
