While removing the RB20 from its front clip we noticed this on the oil pan (see pic). At first we though t it was normal until we looked it in its entirety. Would this affect driveability at all. Also is it possible to change an il pna while the engine is bolted in (ie jacking up the car and changing it)

after posting this, illoked at nights post (the sticky) because I remebered it showed a pic of his oil pan...and wouldnt you o know, it looks the same as mine. So is that normal???

Hey f*****!!!! Ya'll have internet over there....nm I have seen you post a coupel places. IS it tent city over there??? Anyway back on topic. We thought it was a dent too. But Nights looks the same. And the outside of the pan is clean unless you mean the inside. If it looks greasy in the pics....that is coolant and powersteering. The curve acually looks and felt pretty smooth. Iw ould have to check again though, I am **** tired right now and cant remember

You thread jacking *****. LOL it will be in later today. Unbolting the RB was easy ****. Gettting it out of the clip while having the clip sit on the palette was......interesting. It took 2 jacks, 4 jack stands, brute force and a SOHC Valve cover. LOL Dont ask. The top was dusty. had a lil oil from the hood they threw on there. valve cover manifold needs replaced. BUt when we got to the bottom, I was amazed. You could almost eat off it compared to KA. That thing was just disgusting. I was amazed at the gobs of nasty oil i was pulling off (with gloves of course). The RTb was pretty clean though. Remeber how my garage looked before when we had that red car in there?? It is worse now. There is transmission fluid and coolant EVERYWHERE. Power steering fluid too
