Oil Pan

Hey, I just bought my second car, a 92 240sx and I do not have much mechanical experience. The car is leaking oil and it seems like the oil pan gasket is bad. I was wondering if the procedure is simple. Does the oil pan come right off after unbolting all the bolts? I also had a question on which hydraulic jacks you guys prefer for your 240's. The other day I went to jack my car up and the jack that I bought was too short to reach the appropriated spot to jack the car up. Thanks for the help.

It's rather difficult to get the dohc oil pan off. It will come off without a hitch once you get the bolts off...but getting to the bolts that are above the cross member can be rather troublesome.
