Ok here is what I have going on. Had a leak in the front main seal and at the timing chain cover. So I lowered the oil pan, oil pickup, crank pulley, distributor….and everything that goes with that. Put it back to together, and was getting really low oil pressure. For some unknown reason I didn’t replace the seal at the oil pick up. So I go to actually remove the oil pan completely (have to remove minor dents to). I can't seem to get the lower motor mount bolts off so I can lift the motor high enough. Anyone got any ideas on how I can remove the pan with out removing the motor mounts. Fyi I am going to do a write up with pics on removing the oil pan when I get done with. Oh yeah 92 ka24de.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's any way to drop the pan withoutloosening the motor mounts.

This is what I did last night. Removed frotn bar...Think it's the sway.In front of oil pan....Loosened transmission mounts and passenger side motor mount.I removed the brackets underneath that conect to the bellhousing.Removed the driver's side motor mount.Need to unhook your brake booster vaccum line and maybe more. Take a jack with abount a 4"x4"x3'' piece and jack up directly underneath your ac compressor. Worked great for me ONce I calmed down and stopped cussing because I tried different ways prior.Think you need 17mm for transmission bolts 14 for motor mount and brackets and sway bar.And then 10mm for oil pan.Might need swivel attachment on 2 of them. Will need extensions.

Thanks for the help I was able to fix what I needed to. When I pulled off the lower timing chain cover I had to disconnect the oil pickup. Well, I didn't replace the seal so it was sucking air hence low oil pressure. Replaced that put it back together, and am driving it now. If I ever have to remove the motor I am going have to cut the mounts. I have 4 people torque on the wrench with a 4 foot pipe and the motor mount bolts wouldn't move. So I grabbed an air hammer it just stripped out the nuts.
