Has anyone with an s13 or s14 removed their rb20/25/26 oil pan without removing the crossmember?

I've got a little leak that needs fixed and only glanced at it long enough to see I may need to remove the crossmember just to get the pan off. As if 30 bolts wasn't a PITA already..

I didn't find any info..

Get yourself an engine support bar from harbor freight for like 60-70 bucks. Cleaning the surfaces and making sure you get a good RTV seal will be a real challenge w/out dropping the crossmember
