Hey guys and gals. I have a delema. I was wondering if taking all the "useless" metal in the stock oil pan out would disrupt the oil flow and thought ok i'll do it but just check NICO to see if i'd F' up the oil pan if I did. So would it mess the oil pan/flow up?

Um, yea, you'll probably get oil starvation if you remove that "useless" oil and blow up your engine.

I believe it is a factory baffle plate, sort of.

Either way, it's important. Leave it in.

Thank you for this vital info. (I'd hate to ruin a perfect engine.)

lol, yeah, don't remove the baffle, that's important stuff.

Why on earth would you want to do that in the first place?

The purpose of the baffle, as I understand it, it to ensure that your engine will continue to get adequate oil under g load from cornering.

Spoon, for instance, sells aftermarket baffled oil pans for most performance-oriented Hondas.
