oil pan problems

I'm trying to change the oil pan gaskets but I've ran into some trouble. I can't get the dang thing off!! I've undone the motor mounts and jacked the engine from the transmission up as high as it would go but I still can't clear the pan!!

The next thing I see to do is either remove the cross member and fully remove the pan (which I dont want to do unless I have too), or scrape the old gasket off and install a new one along with some RTV as it is hanging 3-4 inches from the engine.

Anyone have any advice on what to do? Is removing the cross member pretty easy? Thanks for any input you guys can give me!
