oil pan problems

i have a 89 sohc auto and i noticed that my car had a lil leak. and when i went under the car i noticed that it was coming from the oil pan? but the wierd thing is that its not oil its like water... but it has like a yellowish color to it?? also when i drive sometimes for a while and i park my car i notice that my antifreeze back up tank be bubbling and smoking?? but my temp gauage reads that its ok.. and i have been putting a lil water in the backup tank just to keep it in between min and max line until i got some antifreeze. can somebody help me out and tell me whats wrong wit my car so i can fix it asap thanks..

Actually, I am leaking coolant/water there too.

I just noticed it recently, the yellowish color you see is coolant (smell to make sure)

Also, check your oil to see if its cloudy looking. you DO NOT want your coolant to be mixing with your oil, if it is, stop driving it immediately.

As far as I can guess, we have a coolant leak from maybe our water pumps, or somewhere else along the front cover maybe.

can nebody tell us how to fix it come on ppl this is my only car and i need to get back and forth to school and work.....
