So there seems to be a pretty substantial amount of oil on and around my oil pan. It goes all the way around the oil pan and about a cm above it all the way around. I figured it was the oil pan gasket, but Im unsure.

Any ideas/ repair help?

I heard the oil pan was a **tch to remove and install. Something about having to remove the cross member, but I really am having a hard time believing that. I also was told I could get it off if I put the front of the car on stands, then jack the motor up to get clearance...

The confusion is the only reason I haven't changed mine yet. Got a big old ding in the front of the pan, and it leaks from the gasket.

for the pan, dropping the sway bar down outa the way should give you plenty of room. or if you want, you can just jack the motor up an inch
