oil pan help swaping 350 in 240

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

this is the only thing holding me back the dam oil pan. has any one bought the mckinny oil pan or made one that fit without cutting crossmember if so can u give me some spec's messurements. really dont wana spend 500 on a oil pan

Is it the standard 5.7 SBC motor? If so try using the Chevy II pan. Was looking for a link to one, but I can't seem to find one. Best to confirm it'll work obviously, but I'm 99% sure that the Chevy II pan is front sump.

yea its a nova chevy II, but i have not seen this done yet on a 240. post some pics if you try it

just make your own thats what i did

yea when i get everything i need im gana make a build thread. im trying ot make my own but i live in a s***y a** town with nothing but a heb so i cant find any sheet metel they told me i can use a old hood so im gana give that a shot. i bought the mckinney mounts so the engine sits kinda low. i dont know i think my dreams r getting shattured again like allways. might have to wait till i go back to school thank god for grants. dam but i wanted to show up my teacher he said it shouldnt be done

I would try the 62-67 nova front sump pan. Which looks like this:

Thanks Dave. I'm pretty sure it was you who told me about the Nova pan in the first place.

i bought the mckinney mounts so it sits kinda low i have about 3 1/2 inches to spare maybe a little less before it hits the crossmember

need somthing like that. thats mckinny 350 swap oil pan no cutting required. anyone wnana donate 500$ so i can buy it
