Anyone have a good photo or measurement of how far lower than the crossmember an RB20 oil pan hangs when mounted with McKinney mounts?

My car's ride height is very low and I think I'd have to space the engine up a bit to make sure I don't destroy my pan the first time I drive around the block. I'm looking for how much of a spacer I'd need to raise the oil pan level with the bottom of the crossmember. At least a ballpark figure from someone with this setup.

Thanks in advance.

The pan looks about 1" lower than the x-member in this photo posted in my other thread. This is why I'm asking. I want to plan ahead and space the engine up a bit if this is infact the case.

There's alot of people running those Mckinney mounts. I don't think it should be a issue.

If you are really worried about it, then make 1" spacers and raise it up.It will then be equal with the x-member.You can also make a skid plate.

you can go to any parts dealer and look at thier engine mount isolator book and find a 1 inch or longer isolator. Cost around $7-10 or you could just go hockey puck. lol. THATS GANGSTA!!!

Well, for anyone searching this topic in the future, I can answer my own question. The RB20 is in the S14 with McKinney mounts and the bottom of the oil pan sits flush with the crossmember. So no worries about tearing the oil pan off driving around.

This is using hockey pucks for mounts instead of the McKinney urethane mounts... but they are both the same height at 1" tall so this shouldn't make any difference.
