I recently changed the oil pan on my 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5. I couldn't find the length of the oil pan bolts online and they were out of stock at the dealer, so I'll share what I found.

After removing the OEM bolts, they measured M6-1.00 thread size, 10 mm hex head x 15 mm length. They used washers that were 1 mm thick x 10 mm O.D. x 6 mm I.D.
The bolts I recommend are M6-1.00 thread size, 10 mm Cap Screw-Flanged Hex Head x 16 mm length, without washers. You can buy these from advance auto or autozone. Originally, I bought 20 mm bolts from what I read online, but they were 4 mm too long. One of the holes contained a burr that prevented the new bolt from screwing in the last mm, so I cut a slit in one of the spare bolts to clean out the thread.
After tapping the oil pan free with a hammer, I removed the old RTV silicone gasket with a scraper, cleaned the surface with Lacquer thinner (or brake cleaner) and removed any residue with rubbing alcohol. Apply Permatex Ultra Black or Ultra Grey RTV gasket maker to the new pan and follow it's directions. Torque the bolts to 61-71 inch-lb; Over-tightening may cause leaks because it's the sealant that does all the work, not the bolts.
