Hey Guys,

i went on some back roads and did some spirited driving, Afterwards i noticed that there was some oil dripping out of the differential breather hose that is attached to the top of the differential. How the hell did oil get out of that hole? I have an extra capacity rear cover, so it holds 2 quarts of oil. I am wondering if there is too much oil in there it will cause this or if something had to be foaming up in there?

cheers for input,Marko

I make this experience everytime on racetracks. If diffoil gets too hot, it blows out of the breather...

don't they make some kind of higher temp synthetic oil or sum thin so it doesn't do that? im sure after a while of spits up it gets kinda low in there right?

hm.. well thanks for letting me know that this is normal.. somewhat.. haha

i have redline 75w90 so i'm surprised that it 'overheated'. I never saw it until now for some reason... Maybe i will try to reroute the breather hose so that oil would have to 'climb' higher before getting out.

Try race-proven Gear Oil, like the Motul Gear FF, its 75W140.
