I've been running Mobil 1 10-30 full syn and I've noticed a little oil being spit out of my blow-off valve into the engine bay. There is also a little accumulation in the ic pipes. is this normal or should i try switching to a thicker oil like Mobil 1 15-40? I might try a Motul 300v 10w-40 or 15w-50. yeah your turbo seal is going out, time to rebuild it or get a new turbo. The RB20/25's turbos are very poorly made and go out all the time.

Before you get a new turbo make sure its really the turbo thats going bad. The valve cover has a line on it that goes back into the intake that helps relieve crankcase pressure. If your car isn't blowing smoke I'd check into getting a catch can first. Besides a catch can is a nice to have anyways.

Most likely it is blow by. If you have your crankcase vented into your intercooler pipes get a catch can like masamunex03 said. Then clean your intercooler pipes out with brake cleaner, and see if the oil comes back.
