First let me say hello, this is my first real post on here.I bought a 91 Q about 3 months ago and have had no problems except i have noticed that the idle isnt as smooth as it should be.I am taking a trip to atlanta this weekend and decided to pull a plug to make sure that it had NGKs in her.Well not only were they not NGKs but the one i pulled out had oil all over it.The plugs are the much overrated, overpriced BOSCH +4s which i have never heard anything good about.Just wondering if they are the reason i have oil on this plug?Maybe a bad seal? Also i need new plugs by friday and no one around here has them in stock.Where can i get some ASAP??I have checked with some of the sponsors with no luck. Thanks and i love NICO!:D

WAIT! Your going to Atlanta, that happens to be the MECCA for Q45 owners

You must also be alerted about the timing guides!! PLease search!

you have bad valve cover seals if you have oil on the plugs...

So i guess theres no point in changing the plugs until i get new valve coversgaskets? And i have read up on the chain guides and it is something i plan on doing in the near future but right now money is a little low for that. How hard to chang e valve covers myself? Thanks elwesso.

Valve covers on a 91 will be a little tougher because of RTV, but not terrible.. You could do both sides in a easy paced weekend.....

I agree, you might as well wait for the plugs until VC's are taken care of... Its no labor to do it once your in there.....

Everything, unless major, needs to go on hold until the guides are taken care of.....
