oil on my plugs

so i just did my timing chain upper and lower and when i went to go start it up i heard sumthing bubbling and found my spark plugs drenched in oil.any ideas how to fix this?

well its one of Two things either Rings are fried or the sparkplug well gaskets are shot and need to be replaced

is the oil on the bottom or top of spark plug?

the oils on the the bottom of the plugs but i pulled the plugs out and cranked it over and it didnt look lk any oil was comin throught the rings

did you put back the spark plug o-ring?

dont remember taking one off. where does the o-ring go? i kno theres the gasket that sits rite under the valve cover

the head and etc.?

ppl focus

Oil is on BOTTOM not top of plugs it it the the sprk plug well O-Rings the it would be on the top of the plugs.

I read your post a few times ands it still comes off a little vague, but i think your spark plug seal is either bad or non-existent. Post pics and it will be more easily solved, because if you did forget that or its bad whatever there would be a lot of oil on it and it could have dripped down as you pulled the plugs.

otherwise that could be a mix of carbon and water on your plugs and not oil........

Hmm it is kinda vague. but i agree with sileighty. Rings might be shot, but there is not reason to take the head off, right?

could be a intake valve seal that tore or generally f***ed up.

Got the cam(s) timed right?

sorry for being so vague guys but i pulled the head off hoping it'd be the valve guides or seals... while the head was off i put a lil water in the cylinders and turns out my piston rings are fried time for a rebuild? ka-t?
