oil light comes on -

I just had the oil light come on - no problem with oil level - 60,000 miles on 2003 qx4 - code came up 0011 - does anyone know if the two are related? Does the variable cam timing solenoid operate on oil pressure to change cam timing? Could a bad solenoid cause a loss of oil pressure? Thanks

i dunno, but the oil light came up on my 96 pathfinder, then it would come and go for about 4 months, then the engine blew up. lol. so i call it the replace engine soon light. but for yours it could be as simple as the oil light sensor.(i dont know the exact word for it)
