oil light blink and puff of smoke from hood

while driving to work today I happenend to look down and see my oil light blink once. It took me another 15 min to get to work, then I popped the hood to check the oil then to my surprise a little cloud of smoke drifted away. I just changed the oil but I check it anyway. It was fine. It did smell like it was burning oil but I couldn't tell where it was coming from. Anyone have any suggestions.

we need more imput. What do you see under the car? Any leaks?

there wasn't any leaks. I'll have to check under the car when I get off this afternoon. everything looked ok . I've been having injector problems but I dont believe that has anything to do with this.

Oil pressure sending unit? Did you double gasket the oil filter?
