oil level tube help

Hello eveyone. I have my oil pump off to put my new one on. How do you get the dipstick tube out of the old pump? Any help is appreciated.Rich-

It is pressed in, I used a hammer on the metal strip on the bottom (pushing upwards) to get it out.

Thats what I needed to know. I started doing that but didn't want to break it.
