I will try to make this story as short as possible but here is the problem I am having...

I just recently installed my new turbo setup which incorperates: bigger injectors, Holset HX35, Nistune, intake manifold, etc. After starting it, it was blowing massive amounts of smoke so I figured the turbo was blown and bought another one. At that time it blew so much oil it was all over the exhaust tip and even shooting out the back. Now I put another turbo on it and it is not smoking at all at idle and does not seem to be smoking while driving it lightly (not finsihed tuning so I cant go under boost yet). Any way after a short test drive working on tuning the low rpm's, I parked it and noticed there was oil all around the tip of the exhaust again, enough where you could wipe it up with your finger. I am not sure if this was residual from the first turbo or not, just being old that was furthur up the exhaust and it being pushed out. Now the problem what is concerning me is that I cannot see if my oil lever is dropping or not. The reason being is since I installed the greddy intake manifold, my dip stick is not reading correctly. I fill the oil up to the correct amount (5qts) and it barly shows up on the end of the dip stick. I made a post about this and someone mention the tube may have gotten pulled out of the block but this is not the case after examining it. So basically I am trying to find out if I am burning oil or not and if so where it is coming from. It never burned oil before the new turbo so my motor should be fine but I can't rule everything out. I am running a restrictor on the oil feed of .8mm I belive to the turbo. Does any one have any input on how I could tell if I am burning oil? I want to start tuning the car but I dont want it to run low on oil and trash my motor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

How do your plugs look? Use a bright light and carefully examine them.

Make sure that your restrictor is working.

Are you positive that your dip-stick tube is fully seated? There should not have been a change in height after the GReddy IM installation. Actually, with the GReddy, nothing should have necessitated the removal of the tube, just the clip that holds it to the manifold for placement.

Also, are you positive that the oil seals are both turbos are intact?

Wait, are you *positive* that it's oil blowing out the exhaust, not carbon + vapor? looks like black water.
What are your AFRs? (I think you could have ruined your wideband sensor if it were oil coated. I'm just guessing though.)

on my rb20 with the stock manifold i cannot get accurate oil level readings. I made sure it is seated and still the same thing.
