hi, i was replacing the wheel bearing, removed tire first, brakes and rotor and finally removed the 4 bolts in the back of the wheel bearing, then removed the boltn(middle)that tights the wheel bearing. While doing all this I applied liquid lubricant to try to loosen the wheel bearing. It was extremly stuck together. I used the hammer to remove it and finally it came off.
Putting on the new wheel bearing was hard to, even with lubricant. I had to hammer it in lightly. Right after that my cleaning began, and I realized I had a ton of oil leaking from under the axle joint or near that area.
I checked all the oils and things seemed fine. I procceeded to test drive it and it sounded wierd since I changed gears. The farthest I was going the more "lifeless " the truck felt. Finally it stopped and I had to apply the hand break in order to PARK because even though it changes gears to PARK it seems like its on Neutral. The distance I was able to drive it was about 100 feet.
I recently had the transfer case replaced. I honestly don't know what it could be. If anyone knows let me know. Any comments will be greatly appreciated!
