Oil Leak!!!!

I have an oil leak...pretty upset... like when i first start the z (1990 Twin Turbo) my oil pressure shoots up which is normal but then thats where i get most of my leak....the oil leak is near the oil filter and near the right turbo im not sure if a turbo oil feed is loose or not...is there anything i need to tighten up??? i can post pics from the leak HELP would be appreciated

Could be the turbo line, but also might be the oil pressure sender or the oil filter tree. Get it up on a hoist or blocks so you can see where it's coming from

hahah NO you didnt see me, you saw my friends z32 which is this one and i own this one We both live in Paramount and both cars are 1990 Twin Turbo and we are pretty sure we have seen you around as well we should have a Z MEET!

you guys live close i live in bellflower and i have a oil leak as well i think it could be the lower cam covers! i just got this car on sunday

Sorry for the Thread revival (couldnt PM so i resorted to this)

I know it was over a year ago when you had this problem, but do you remember what your leak turned out to be? (if you can remember lol)
My car has also developed this leak and unfortunately oil is spray allover like an oil grenade above the filter... makes it a bit hard to locate. Especially like you say it only happens under high pressure.
I may have to make some sort of cone to go over the filter.
so if oil is under the cone the filters to blame and if its on top one of the many other pipes is to blame.... fun.

There is an O-Ring and seal from the oil tree to the block. It tends to develop leaks. If this is your issue, see the link below for the drawing of the parts and a way to order them...

Thank you Marty for that information. Ill take a closer look after cleaning it up again...
Ill see if i can be cheaky and get it over the Lorry Pit again to look for it. Makes it easier than on wood or bricks.
Plus ill feel safer not having near 2 tonnes over my head on bricks
